The distribution of the printed sermons of Dr. Dibelius. Evangelical Bishop of Berlin, has been forbidden in east Berlin and in the Soviet zone by the " people's" police. The Evangelical Press office stated that "people's" police entered the Marienkirche, in the east sector of Berlin, during a service on Sunday and removed from a wall a copy of a peace resolution adopted by the All-German Evangelical Synod in April. It was added. however, by the Press office that Dr. Dibelius, who is also chairman of the National Council of Evangelical Churches in Germany, was still permitted by the " people's" police to preach in person in Soviet-occupied territory.
