Fr Louis Mascarenhas SJ, of St Joseph's College, Bangalore, India writes to congratulate us on our Centenary, and says that he has been a regular reader of the Catholic Herald for the past 52 years!
The first copy he read was in the week of his ordination to the priesthood on November 21 1936. He writes to say that he reads the paper each week "thankfully and joyfully". We wish Fr Louis Mascarenhas many more years of happy reading!
