CARDINAL Richard Cushing, noted for his ability to raise money for charity, was penniless when he died on November 2.
"1 have no insurance, bank deposits, investments nor other holdings whatsoever," the late Cardinal said in his Will which was filed on Monday.
"1 entered the service of God poor and without property," he said in the will dated July 26. 1956. "1 have always aspired to leave it equally unencumbered."
