"We Must Demand Our Rights"

--BISHOP MARSHALL •

Dr. Marshall, Bishop of Salford. in a rousing address to 150 Y.C.W. delegates from all over Great Britain, at Stonyhurst, on Sunday (full story on page 5), said the Bishops were watching the YeC.W., not critically, but with great hopes. " I am a fighter myself;

love the fighting spirit of the Y.C.W., and deplore the inferiority complex of Catholics.

" We nuts! not be content to go to Parliament to beg for a few crumbs. we must demand our rights," he added.

After the war it would be Christ or Materialism, They must expect opposition inside and outside the Church, but whatever the discouragement, they must never give up.
