PAGEANT OF YOUTH First in Catholic London

FOR WIMBLEDON, SUNDAY, APRIL 30 A " Pageant of Youth," probably the first of its kind to be held in this country, is being arranged by the Catholic Youth Confederation (SouthWest London District) for Wimbledon Town Hall on Sunday, April 30. Wellknown speakers, incldding Mise Pamela Frankau, will deliver addre.sses, and delegates from four Youth Clubs will discuss the home and family, education. industry and leisure. During these speeches there will be tableaux iltustrating four aspects of the Holy Family.

There will also be tableaux and short Plays. presented by members of Youth Clubs, illustrating episodes in the lives of the saints, and a general pageant culminating in a large tableau symbolic of Calvary.

The Holy Family Youth Club Chair will sing, and the organ will be played by Mr. George Malcolm, bandmaster of the band of R.A.F. Bomber Command. •
