From all parts of the country are coming reports of telegrams of protest from Bishops, priests and lay organisations.

Mgr. Ellis, Bishop of Nottingham. has sent one to the Prime Minister of Hungary and has also asked all societies to follow his example.

The Nottingham Catholic Council, representing 13,000 Catholics, have sent a telegram to our own Prime Minister, the Foreign Secretary, and the Prime Minister of Hungary.

Mgr. Petit, Bishop of Menevia, has sent a letter of protest to the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Bevil].
