Saving on Tees-side

Some 200 Tees-side members of the Y.C.W. will be joining the more than 32,000 Young Christian Workers from all over the world who are going to Rome in August for an international rally.

To raise funds for the travel expenses of 25 of their members, the Middlesbrough Cathedral Boys' Club have raised about £200 by special efforts including the collecting and sale of scrap metal.

They are also trying to raise some money towards the travelling expenses of South African members for whom the round trip will cost about £400 each.
