BISHOP SIPOVICH, M.I.C., of Marian House, Finchley, who has care of all Byelorussians in Western Europe, went to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and St. Gregory, Warwick Street, just off London's Piccadilly, last Sunday evening in order to perform a double blessing.

He blessed the Lady Chapel and shrine of the church, which has been completely redecorated. a new mahogany reredos installed. and many new and artistic features incorporated The Bishop, who was a member of the Preparatory Commission for the Eastern Churches in connection with the Vatican Council, also blessed in the Byzantine Slav Rite a picture of Our Lady of Vladimir, which has been presented to the church. He carried the Blessed Sacrament in the Corpus Christi procession and afterwards gave Benediction.
