SIR,-It is difficult to see how the
statement about Moral Rearmament in "Hcre's the Answer": " Its ignoring and practical rejection of the Church which Christ founded . . . " squares with the following from a recent pamphlet published by M.R.A.: " Angelo Paretto, a former leader in the Italian Communist Party who refound his Catholic faith through Moral Rearmament, quoted Don Sturzo as saying to him . . ."
We must bring Christians back to living their Christianity before it is too late. That is what Frank Buchman and Moral Rearmament are doing. Frank Buchman is a great man. You are our best allies in this fight.
To anticipate possible comments, I myself am not a Catholic nor a Christian nor a member of M.R.A.

The Church's reaction to M.R.A. differs in different countries and dioceses, but the Holy Office in 1951 issued a directive instructing priests not to take part in M.R.A. meetings and laymen nor to accept posts of responsibility in it. In this country Catholics may not be members.-ED1T0R. C. H.
