Canon Joseph Douch, for 15 _sears parish priest at Deptford, S.E. London, celebrated his golden jubilee on Monday Totally blind for many years, he came out of retirement to assist at his jubilee Mass celebrated by his life-long friend Mgr. Canon Crca, who lives in retirement in Dublin. In his address Canon Crea drew close the ties between Deptford and Eastbourne Canon Douch's home town. Fr. J. J. Curtin, parish priest of Eastbourne, joined Canon Douch's family and parshioners in the celebrations.
