A Stoke College Recognised St. Joseph's College at Trent Vale,

Stokeon-Trent, has been recognised by the Board of Education as a grant-earning secondary school. This school, for boys, was opened by the Irish Christian Brothers five years ago. Classes were conducted, for some time, in an adapted private residence; but with the increase in numbers a new college became imperative and the present buildings were opened in September last year.

The recognition by the Board has followed the report of Inspectors who made an inspection of the school in April last. Free place pupils have been admitted this term.
