Man Of Many Parts Leaves Nottingham

Fr. John Dockery, 0.F.M., who left Nottingham last week for Si. Anthony's. Forest Gate, on his appointment as Procurator and Secretary to the English-Franciscan Prosince. leaves many offices behind him to be filled.

He was the secretary of the Nottinghamshire Christian Council (representing the Catholic, Anglican and Free Churches of the city), thc first chairman of the Nottingham Catholic Council. one of the organisers and a member of the Executive of the Nottingham Film Consultative Committee, chairman of the Nottingham branch of the Nottinghamshire Beekeepers' Association, and secretary of the East Midlands Federation of Beekeepers' Associations.
