From Our German Correspondent The Bishop of Rottenburg, Mgr. Sproll, as already reported, took up residence in the episcopal Seminary of the Archdiocese of Freiburg, after having been expelled by violence from his own diocese. From St. Peter's Seminary he continued to govern
his diocese. He had therefore not given special rights to his vicar-general.
Now the Swiss Church Gazette communicates that Bishop Sproll has again been expelled from his new residence by the local Nazis who claimed that his presence was a provocation to the population and might lead to a disturbance of public law and order.
So the Bishop had to flee and is now staying in a village outside his diocese. He is, however, continuing to exercise his administrative functions.
