AWORLD Council of Churches committee, meeting in the Soviet Union for the second time ever (the first was in Odessa in 1964), this month decided to intensify its co-operation with Roman Catholic theologians.
Part of this intensification will be an invitation to Catholics to send official observers to the next meeting of the whole committee on Faith and Order in Bristol, England, next summer.
The committee also decided to circulate all member-bodies to try to get a fixed date for the observance of Easter.
