Rome Synod goes on tape

AS the international Sy nod of Bishops discusses the crucial issue of religious education in Rome, Catholics in Britain can listen week by week to the unfolding drama as told by those taking part. Each week subscribers will receive an hourlong cassette flown in from Rome. British delegates to the synod and their expert advisers will record their impressions of the discussions. There will be interviews with prominent figures from other delegations, and a news roundup. Representing England and Wales will be Cardinal George Basil Hume of Westminster and Archbishop Derek Worlock of Liverpool. Scotland will send Archbishop Thomas Winning of Glasgow.
