Catenians Visit 13th Century Church

Catenians of Wetherby Circle, York, Harrogate, and Pontefract, paid their annual visit to the 600-years-old church at Hazlewood Castle, on Sunday last.

Mass was offered up at 8.30 by the Rev. Paul Kelly, of Tadcaster, who welcomed the Catenians on their visit to that historic church, the mother-church of the Catholic missions of the neighbouring countryside.

Breakfast was at the Crown Hotel, Wetherby, and the guests included Canon E. E. Wilson, of St. John's Institute for the Deaf, Boston Spa. Many of those present afterwards paid a visit to the institute, by kind invitation of the canon.
