Wonderful counsellor?

URBANUS "tricks of the housing tradeleft me rather disturbed. This was not so much a comment as a brief report on a particular case and what amounts to an advertisement for a "home counsellor".

This has serious implications. Those living outside London will be encouraged to seek out such people in preference to -solicitors. who appear to have taken to booze.

Clients of a solicitor have the protection of the Law Society and the Indemnity Fund to which all solicitors

have to contribute large sums. against any negligence or incompetence,.

What safeguard have we against the incompetent home counsellor! Not all counsellors are as knowledgeable as Miss Medlicott. neither are all solicitors alcoholics.

Furthermore, solicitors are prevented from 'touting' and are therefore put at an unfair disadvantage against such blatant bits of PR like those appearing among Mr Urbanus's "comments", Derek H. Worth Plymouth
