BILBAO SPEECH "No Goal But Victory"

An important speech was made at Bilbao to-day at the civic luncheon by Sr. Serrano Stiller, Minister of the Interior.

The luncheon was part of the celebrations commemorating the anniversary of Bilbao's liberation by the Nationalist Army.

The following are extracts from his speech:

" There can be no other goal for us but victory. No pacts, no handshakes, no compromises, for these things would amount to high treason. There can be no other end, either a Marxist surrender, or victory.

" Besides the Socialism and Communism of Moscow," he went on, " we have other dangerous enemies, such as Maritain, who pretends to be ignorant of the fact that there is no religious worship in the Red zone, when churches have been desecrated and fired and where whole families have been outraged and murdered."
