The Australian Government will shortly introduce the most drastic legislation in the country's history, aimed at freeing Australia from Communist influence, according to the Canberra correspondent of the Sydney Sunday Sun.

A powerful group of Catholics among Labour Senators may revolt against their party's plan to use its Senate majority to reject the Government plans to fight Communism, the report adds.
