The Bishop of Mainz, Mgr. Stohr, and the Bishop of Aachen, Mgr. Vandervelde, in pastoral letters have both advocated Mass in the evening as a permanent daily institution. They base their advocacy on the ground that Mass in the evening is necessary owing to the change in working conditions.
