Huge cross on its way to Rome

The huge, two-ton wooden Cross, which was carried to every parish in the diocese of Aachen two years ago and has been venerated for the past two years in Aachen Cathedral, has resumed its travels.

Groups of men are carrying the Cross throughout the dioceses of Munster, Cologne. Treves, Limburg, Maintz, Speyer and Freiburg,

The Cross will he taken by steamboat to Basle whence the Fax Christi pilgrimage will take it to Rome. It will be ble.sscd by the Pope and then returned to Aachen Cathedral.
