'St. Martin' books MESSRS. Macmillans, whose I. A name was

inadvertently misspelt in a recent issue of THE CA-motto HERATD have launched a new series of cheap paperbacked editions. Suitably, for their address is St. Martin's Street, it is called St. Martin's Library.

Ten titles start this series, among them " Left Hand, Right " and "The Scarlet Tree", three plays of Sean O'Casey and " Gone with the Wind." Authors also include Thomas Hardy, Sir Hugh Walpole and Charles Morgan.

DIAMOND FEVER, by Wilfred Greatorex (Cassell, 18s.).

As the title implies, diamonds are the theme of this book. The author's adventures in British Guiana snake this an exciting yarn for those who enjoy a travel adventure story.
