Young German Catholics visit Britain

FORTY-FOUR young people from the Rhineland-Pfalz region of Germany have been welcomed to the Clifton diocese.

The young Catholics who have been enjoying time in the southwest are from some of the families who hosted young and young-at-heart pilgrims from the Clifton and Plymouth dioceses during last year's World Youth Day celebrations in Germany. , The youngsters came on retreat to the St Rita's Centre in Honiton, Devon, where Becky Hughes, the Plymouth diocese youth officer, and several of the pilgrims from the southwest group provided workshops and sightseeing opportunities, which have included visits to Plymouth, Exeter and Cornwall's Eden Project.
