AID FOR SOUTH INDIA

A Christmas fair and coffee morning organised by the Catholic Women's League at Southwold, Suffolk, raised £102 for a settlement in South India to rehabilitate young boys and teach them a trade so that they can support themselves.

Already the League has sent £700 to build cottages in the settlement. One of these is to be named Southwold. Mrs. Melia Nicholls was responsible for starting the scheme.
