Mr. Richard Stokes, M.P., on Thursday, returned to the question of night bombing by putting up a question in the House of Commons as to whethei ,Mr. Churchill would act on his belief that "if the people of Lonsitnn were asked to cast their vote to stop the bombing of all cities, the overwhelming majority would cry " No."
Mr, Stokes's question was as follows:
To ask the Prime Minister if he will coneider making a convention with the German Government for the cessation of night bombing and the bombing of cities; and whether he will take steps to ascertain the Opinion of tbe people on this proposal.
