Emery, rector of Oscott College, was this week re-elected administrator and treasurer of the Johnson Fund. The fund was founded many years ago to aid the clergy of the Birmingham diocese in sickness or old age. A contribution of £10 makes a benefactor. Forty Masses are offered for a deceased•benefac• tor, and an annual Mass is said by each member for all benefactors living and dead.
