A great Catholic Congress is scheduled to meet in Budapest on October 4-7,. with a programme including discussion of current international and social problems and of plans for the observance next year of the seventh centenary of the birth of Blessed Margaret of Hungary.

Blessed Margaret was a daughter of King Bela 1. She spent her life as a Dominican nun in a convent which she founded, on an island in the Danube near Budapest.

Other Budapest Catholic activities in the near future include the Catholic Sumer School of Esetergom, scheduled as usual this year with much interest shown in the lectures announced and a conference for pastors on present parish problems, to meet within the month.

The motion picture branch of Hungarian Catholic Action has prepared and is distributing copies of Pope Pius XI's Encyclical Vigitairti Cara in Latin and Hungarian.
