He isn't there yet, but in the BBC's "Seeing and Believing" on Sunday, his second appearance within a few weeks, he was nearer to it because he is learning to reveal more of his personality. This attracts because of its keenness. Fr. Columba speaks ardently, gets carried away. and his enthusiasm is contagious. He discussed prayer, and invited a Birmingham businessman, a mother of four, and a Harwell scientist, to describe how they tried to link everyday-life with the life of prayer.

One of four interviewees, the mother of four, came over best because she too got carried away, and seemed as anxious as Fr. Columba to say as much as possible in the time allowed her.
