The Catholic Fireside Christmas Number for 1938, now on sale, is a storehouse of delightful Christmas reading.
Chief among this year's features are an exclusive interview with Mrs. J. P. Kennedy, wife of the U.S.A. Ambassador to Britain, who sends a Christmas message to all Catholic mothers; a contribution from the pen of the late Cecily Hallack, one of the last articles she ever wrote.
The presentation plate, which is given free with every copy of the Christmas Number, is the particularly attractive picture by Murillo, "St. Antony and the Infant Jesus."
The issue, including plate, costs ls., and is now on sale at the newsagents and church stalls.
