Appeal to help the spastics

Cardinal Griffin, the Chief Rabbi and the Bishop of London have signed a joint letter appealing for more people to contribute towards the work of the National Spastics Society, especially through the sale of Christmas seals.

These seals, millions of which have been distributed to schools, clubs, shops, offices and worka, help towards the society's £250,000 target for this year to build more treatment centres and special schools, and to further medical research into the cause of the disease.
