ATIDNIGHT MASS is to be -I"televised by the B.B.C. this year from Belgium—from the Abbey of Tongerlo. Fr. Agnellus Andrew is going over to give the commentary. Archbishop Grimshaw of Birmingham will give the " Lift up Your Hearts " talk each morning at 7.50 a.m. in the Home and Midland Service, in the week leading up to Christmas Eve. The Abbot of Downside will again take part in The Faith in the West, a magazine programme to be broadcast on Friday, December 2. at 7.45 p.m. on the West of England Home Service.

The Sunday Half-Hour on December 4 (Light and Northern programmes, 8.30 p.m.) will come from St. Mary's Church, Bradford. and the hymns will be introduced by Bishop Heenan of Leeds. The Evening Service on Sunday. December 11 (Midland programme. 7.45 p.m.). will come from Heythrop College.

The Northern Ireland Home Set vice will broadcast an evening service from Aquinas Hall, conducted by Fr. Cahill. Sunday, December II. 7.45 p.m.

A morning service from the chapel of the Bar Convent in York will be broadcast in the Northern Home Service on Sunday. December 18, at 9.30 a.m.

An Evening Service of Christmas music will be broadcast from Westminster Cathedral on Sunday. December 18. at 7.45 p.m. It will be conducted by Mgr. Gordon Wheeler.

There will be an evening service from Scotland on Sunday, Decem ber 18. It will come from St.

Margaret's, Ayr, at 7.45 p.m., and will be conducted by the Provost,

Mgr. Joseph McHardy, ME.,

A sung Mass will be broadcast from St. Cuthbert's. Withington,

Manchester. on Thursday, December 29, at 9 a.m., Home and North.
