Romero week in East Anglia

BISHOP MICHAEL EVANS of East Anglia has commemorated the death of Archbishop Oscar Romero with a week of events called “Romero Week”.

Archbishop Romero was shot dead while celebrating Mass in El Salvador on March 24 1980. Anglicans also admire Archbishop Romero and the events during the week began with an ecumenical choral evensong at Norwich Cathedral.
