Sword of the Spirit For Newcastle

All the officers of the Tyneside Council of Study Clubs, branch of the Catholic Social Club, were re-elected at the annual meeting held at St. Mary's Cathedral, Newcastle, last Sunday. A satisfactory balance was reported by the treasurer, the Rev. J. C. SCUT, D.D.

The president, the Rev. J. W. Milroy, read a letter from Mgr. Joseph McCormack, Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle, asking the C.S.G. to organise a study club with a view to inaugurating the Sword of the Spirit in the diocese.
