FR. ILTUD EVANS, 0.P. Is to broadcast an appeal on behalf of the Dominican Sisters' convalescent home for women at Kelvedon, near Colchester, Essex.

The appeal. for the 0,000 balance of a 118.000 bill the Sisters received for a new extension to the home, will be broadcast on the BBC Home Service at 8.25 p.m. on Sunday, May 6.

The Sisters receive more than 500 patients each year — most of them from London and provincial hospitals. In addition to being helped back to strength and ordinary Life, the women are often helped as well in personal or family problems which may have been hindering their recovery.
