Fr Gerald Cantwell, OFM Cap, of the Francisan Friary, Pantasaph, North Wales, aged 74. He was born at Bolton. Lancashire, end entered the Franciscan Capuchin Order in 1927 and was ordained in 1935. He served for many years the parish at Pantasaph and was guardian and parish priest at Frith, Kern, from 1949 to 1951.

For a time he was manager of The Franciscan Annals. Other parishes in which he served were at Olton. Cheater and London. He died on Easter Sunday while on sick leave at Bolton.

Fr liertholormw Henry, SMM, aged 54 He followed hrs brother, Joseph. into the Montfort Missionaries, but his studies were interrupted by compelsory service in the Navy. He was born In Liverpool.

After his naval service he continued his studies at Church Stratton. Shropshire, where he was ordained in 1953. He spent some years teaching In the Junior Seminary at Ramsey. Hampshire, but soon diabetes and failing eyesight interfered with his priestly work.

Towards the end of his life he was able to celebrate Mass, but was riot able to do other priestly work. He died in Montfon House, Highgate, London, N19.

Fr Joseph McEntee who was living in retirement at East Finchley. North London, aged 77. He was born in Kensington and studied for the priesthood at St Edmund's, Ware being ordained In 1927. He served as assistant priest at Rosary Church, Marylebone. St Mary's, Moodield, St Mary's, East Finchley, Immaculate Heart, Homerton and St Luke's, Pinner.

He then became parish priest at St John Fisher. North Harrow, where he built a church. Late' he served at St Joseph's. Waltham Cross. until he retired in 1964 to Leigh-on-Sea. Essen, moving to East Finchlev Iasi year.

Latest wills

Mrs Allene Moya Guidsc Rinkenback, of Leyborne Park, Kew Gardens, Richmond, Surrey, who died in January, left £127,910 gross, £126,580 net. She left half her property to a friend and half to the Catholic Church of St Winifrede's, Leyborne park, KEw Gardens. Annie Teresa Webb, late of Woodland Walk, Boscombc, Bournemouth, who died in January, left £72,248 gross, £71,822 net. She left £1,000 each to Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Boscombe, and Portsmouth Catholic Diocese for the education of church students', and f500' each to CAFOD, the Crusade of Rescue, the SOns of Divine Providence, and Nazareth House NEw Childrens Home, Cardiff.

Mrs Jane Johns, of Main Street, Sedbergh, Cumbria, who died in January, left £39,854 gross, £39,604 net. She left £1,000 to the Catholic Church at Bentham, and £500 each to the St John's Ambulance Brigade, the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Spastics Society, the National Deaf Children's Society, RNIB and the National Society for Mentally Handicapped Children
