American Jesuits to honour Dr. Ramsey

THE Archbishop of Can terbury, Dr. Michael Ramsey, and Cardinal Suenens, Archbishop of MalinesBrussels, will fly to New York next Friday for an eight-day visit during which they will lecture to Protestant bishops of the Episcopal Church.

Each will give three lectures during a •three-day conference at the Trinity Institute, New York, under the general title "The Future of the Christian Church." While in New York Dr. Ramsey will receive an

honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Woodstock College, the Jesuit seminary.

On the Monday he will visit Trinity School, and before lunching with members of the

staff will conduct a private question-and-answer session with the pupils. In the evening he will record a television interview for the David Frost Show. The following evening he will have another private question-and-answer session with students at the General Theological Seminary.
