Bishop Vovir. of Ljubljana, brutally attacked a few months ago by young Titoists—when his cassock was set on fire after petrol had been thrown at him—has now been fined. The Belgrade newspaper Politka states that the fine of 15,000 dinar' was imposed because Bishop Vovk had issued "unauthorised" circulars to the people of his diocese.
