Following the death of the old Cat holicos of the Armenian Church it has become necessary to organise the election of a new Patriarch.
The Soviet authorities are doing their very best to disintegrate finally and com pletely the Armenian Church. Several priests who would possibly have been able to assume the functions of Patriarch have been arrested, and there is ceaseless propaganda for the total suppression of the Church.—C.P.
