WINNER will take all in a competition being organised by a Catholic secondary school to find the best design for a stained glass window. Open to artists living in Lancashire particularly those from around the school's home town of Preston the competition will help put the finishing touches to Our Lady's High School's ambitious plans for a "guild centre" with hi-tech library and resource centre.
The window will be made with the assistance of the glass department of Preston College if
the winning artist, who will receive £600, is not a stained glass maker. It is to be placed in the entrance hall to the guild centre.
The guild centre has been built in the grounds of the school, and will house computer equipment.
