From Mr Brian WA J Gregory Sir, Since September I I th 2001 we have been at war with the forces of Satan.
It is for this reason I ask every parish to pray the Rosary before Mass each week or as part of a weekly parish "Holy Hour" and to recite after each Mass the prayer to St Michael — the angelic defender of the Chosen People (Dan:12:1) in our battle against Satan (Rev:12:7-9).
The Prayer: St Michael the archangel defend us in battle: be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, 0 Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all the wicked spirits who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls.
