From Mr John Blyth Sir, Your correspondent, Tracy-Jo Smith refers to Archbishop Conti as "the spiritual leader of Scotland's Catholics" but this is incorrect. The primafial see in Scotland is St Andrews and Edinburgh and has been since the 14th century, therefore the Archbishop of Edinburgh, Archbishop O'Brian, is the spiritual leader of Scotland's Catholics.

Yours faithfully, JOHN BLYTH, Edinburgh
