ITH reference to the query of Constance Holt in your March 14 issue, "Can anybody yet say we have an educated laity?" may I quote a point (in the same issue of your paper) from the report on the Congress for Vocations to the Priesthood, held in Lucerne, where Point 3 states: "The actual seminary training is not sufficiently appropriate and work of a priest to the life in today's world." If education means a preparation for life in the world of today then laymen might well ask in turn: "Can anybody yet say we have an educated clergy?" W. J. Kruppa Rhyl, Wales.
