Czechoslovakia's First Missionary Bishop Mgr. Ignatius Amos. Vicar-Apostolic of Bulawayo

(Southern Rhodesia), who will be consecrated at Leittneritz on May 30. is the first missionary Bishop produced by Czechoslovakia. His election was hailed with great satisfaction by his countrymen of northern Bohemia, and the press carried several articles about the Bishop and Catholic foreign Mission work. He was born in 1885 at Bodenbach, in the diocese of LetitMeritee
