SISTERS OF NAZARETH Many New Admissions

On the Feast of Our Lady Help of Christians, a ceremony of Clothing and Profession was held at Nazareth House, Hammersmith. Fr. Sproule, C.SS.R., who had conducted the preparatory retreat was the celebrant, and preached. The Rev. J. Goggin (chaplain). and Rev. F. T. Bentley

assisted in the sanctuary. The Revv. J. Heenan, D.D., Ph.D., and F. Brennan were also present, besides many relatives and friends of the Sisters.

The postulants who received the novice's habit were: Misses N. Isfahan (Sister Joseph Alphonsus). M. McCabe (Sister Peter Stanislet's), N. O'Callaghan (Sister Anne Teresa), M. McCloy (Sister M. Borromeo), K. Conway (Sister John of Calvary), V. Cagey (Sister M. Frances de Chantal). M. O'Dea (Sister Aloysius Patrick). and M. Kicly (Sister Teresa Michael.)

The following Novices made their first vows and were then clothed in the full habit of a Sister of Nazareth : Sisters M. Athanaeius (Schmitz), St. Magdalen Ira (O'Halloran), St. Martel (Meaney), M. Stephana (MeCiivern), St. John Fisher (McCabe), St. Teresa Margaret (Coakley), M. Malachy (McSweeney). Francis Dominic (Moorhead), Herbert Joseph (Brennan), and St. Francis Cuthbert (O'Connor).

Sisters St. Hubert (Flavin), St. Eugene (McDaiel), M. Gabriel (Murphy), pro nounced final vows. On the same day Sisters M. Eulalia (Flynn), and John Francis (Tracey) made their final vows in Nazareth House, Cape Town; also Sister M. Richard in Nazareth House, San Diego, California.

Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament was then given. The Te Deum, and prayers for the benefactors of Nazareth House, brought the ceremony to a close.
