THE GIRL GUIDES A Parade in Southwark

Large numbers of Southwark Catholic Girl Guides assembled for a special festival service. last Sunday afternoon, in St. George's Cathedral, Southwark. Lady Baden Powell was present in the Cathedral, with other Commandants, and took the salute at a subsequent parade outside.

The preacher was the Rev. Owen Dudley, Superior of the Catholic Missionary Society. In the course of his sermon Fr. Dudley reminded the Guides that their motto. " He Prepared " behoved them, as Catholics. to be prepared to explain their faith. to be able to answer ordinary questions which might

be put to them by non-Catholics. They should pray that every Catholic Girl Guide might do her hit to guide England back to the faith.
