THE beginning of Too Hot to Handle

awakens great expectations. The subject has vistas—rival news-reel camera-men out on the Chinese war front trying to outsee one another. And there is a magnificent sequence when Clark Gable (one of our news-reel men) is forced to stage a little Chinese war of his own with firecrackers and a toy bomber to get a "special" for his company.
