SOUTHWARK The following engagements for Mgr. Peter Amigo, Archbishop Bishop of Southwark, are announced from Bishop's House today: Sunday, October 30: Visitation at St. Leonards-on-Sea.
Tuesday, November 1: Pontificates in the Cathedral at 11; Pontifical Vespers in the Cathedral at 8, followed by Vespers of the Dead.
Wednesday, November 2: Assists at Solemn Requiem in the Cathedral at 10.
Thursday, 'November 3: Sings Requiem Mass in the Cathedral at 11, for all deceased bishops and priests of the diocese of Southwark.
NORTHAMPTON Mgr. Laurence Youens, O.S.B., Bishop of Northampton, visited Daventry on Sunday. In the afternoon he administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to forty-five children and adults, twenty of whom came from the adjoining Mission of Weedon.
The Church was crowded for the ceremony, which closed with Pontifical Benediction. The Bishop was attended by Mgr. Canon Tonks and the Rev. Philip Thomas.
