Nuncio to help Mgr. Montini

Within a week the Holy Father has given Archbishop Montini of Milan—his former Pro-Secretary of State—two Auxiliary Bishops. One is a Papal Nuncio—Mgr. Pignedoli, who after being secretary of the Holy Year Committee in Rome in 1950 was appointed Nundio to Bolivia and consecrated titular Archbishop of Iconium. Last year he was appointed Nuncio to Venezuela.

The other Auxiliary is Mgr. Giuseppe Schiavini, Vicar General of Milan, who is to be consecrated titular Bishop of Farsalus.
