The Pope's sympathy for flood victims

Bishop Grimshaw, of Plymouth, has received the following telegram of sympathy from the Holy Father sent to him via the Apostolic Delegation in London: "Holy Father having learned with sincere regret of the recent calamities England bids me convey His cordial sympathy victims flood prayerfully invokes upon stricken peoples plenteous heavenly consolations."
