CATHOLIC RECORDS Society's Annual Meeting

At the annual meeting of the Catholic Record Society on July 20. Major Francis Skeat read a paper on "'The Relationship between Catholicism and Jacobitism in England during the Penal Times."

There was also an exhibition of letters, books, me:Lek and miniatures.

Among the books was a Missale Parviint of 1626, used by English Jesuits. The only English words are in the marriage service from the Sarum Missal in which the bride promises to he "debonaire and buxom."
